Moldovan fugitive 'Babior' detained in Turkey after life sentence for contract killings

Iurie Radulov, a Moldovan national sentenced in absentia to life imprisonment for 10 contract killings and 11 attempted murders, has been detained in Turkey, with authorities informing Moldova's National Police on October 6. The arrest ends a period of fugitive status, though extradition proceedings and the timeline for his return to Moldova remain uncertain. This is a notable law-enforcement success in cross-border crime, but it has no direct market impact.
