Polish man arrested near Belarus border with $23K smuggled cigarettes, probe parts

A 29-year-old Polish man was arrested after a chase near the Belarusian border in Podlaskie, with a large batch of smuggled cigarettes worth $23,000 and fragments of a meteorological probe found in his car. The incident highlights ongoing smuggling activity along the Poland-Belarus border, though the presence of the probe suggests possible dual-use or surveillance concerns. The arrest is routine law enforcement, but the probe fragments add an unusual element that may warrant further investigation.
