Alstom to Supply 83 Metro Trains to Vietnam, Charleroi Site Mobilized

Alstom has signed a framework agreement with Vinhomes, a Vingroup subsidiary, to supply 83 metro trains to Vietnam, with financial terms undisclosed and still being finalized. The trains will be designed and manufactured at Alstom's Valenciennes Petite-Forêt plant, while the Charleroi site is mobilized for the project. This marks a significant export deal for Alstom, expanding its footprint in Southeast Asia's growing urban transit market.
