Farmer killed in Bexon shooting; masked gunmen flee toward river

A farmer, Cleus Soolal, was fatally shot on a farm in Bexon, St. Lucia, around midday Wednesday. An eyewitness reported hearing gunfire, including possible machine-gun fire, and saw two masked men fleeing toward a river. The incident appears to be a targeted killing, but motive and suspects remain unknown.
