Trump mischaracterizes Ukraine war, claims Crimea 'bathed by ocean' and mud stopped Russians

US President Trump offered a distorted account of the Russia-Ukraine war, claiming Crimea is 'bathed by the ocean' and that Russian troops failed to reach Kyiv due to a 'not very good' general leading them into mud. This misrepresentation of basic facts signals potential policy misdirection and diplomatic friction, though it is rhetorical rather than operational.
