Costa Rican medical device export growth decelerates to 2% in 2026

Medical device exports from Costa Rica experienced a sharp decline in growth, falling from 34% in July 2025 to 2% by July 2026. This slowdown contributes to a broader deceleration in total goods exports, which dropped to 5% growth compared to 17% in the same period last year.
