WWII air-raid shelters found in Brussels Metro 3 construction zone

Arau confirms two WWII air-raid shelters in the Palais du Midi cellars, part of the Metro 3 construction site. The shelters, built in 1940 and 1943, are among the largest in Brussels. Arau calls for archaeological work before further underground construction, which could delay the metro project.
