Ecuador CPCCS candidate Toapanta runs unopposed for Participation seat

Martha Toapanta is the sole candidate for the Participation seat on Ecuador's CPCCS (Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control) after twelve minority-identified candidates declined to register. This leaves the seat effectively uncontested, reducing voter choice in the upcoming election.
