Former Guatemalan prosecutor Solórzano Foppa assassinated in broad daylight in Campo Marte

Juan Francisco Solórzano Foppa, former prosecutor and former SAT superintendent, was killed in a targeted attack in Campo Marte, Guatemala City, along with Gustavo Adolfo Aguilar Gamarro. Two suspects have been captured but deny involvement. The assassination of a high-profile former official suggests possible political or criminal motives, raising concerns about rule of law and impunity in Guatemala.
