US Navy accepts delivery of final Lewis B. Puller-class Expeditionary Sea Base

The U.S. Navy has taken delivery of the USS Hector A. Cafferata Jr. (ESB-8), marking the completion of the Lewis B. Puller-class procurement program. These vessels serve as mobile sea bases for special operations and mine countermeasures, enhancing forward-deployed logistics capabilities. The delivery coincides with efforts to restore operational readiness across the Military Sealift Command fleet.
