St. George Mining and Lima & Pergher to develop R$ 2 billion rare earth facility in Brazil

Australian firm St. George Mining and Brazil's Lima & Pergher have signed an MOU to establish a rare earth separation and processing center in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. The project, valued at R$ 2 billion, remains subject to feasibility studies with commercial operations targeted for 2030. This development signals a strategic effort to expand non-Chinese rare earth processing capacity.
