Ukrainian Patriot battery intercepts 300+ Russian missiles and drones over Kyiv

A single Western-supplied air-defense battery from Ukraine's 96th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade has reportedly shot down over 300 Russian missiles and drones, including cruise missiles and Shahed drones, defending Kyiv. This highlights the sustained effectiveness of Western air-defense systems in countering Russian aerial attacks, though the claim is based on a single source and unverified. The continued attrition of Russian munitions and the protection of critical infrastructure underscore the strategic importance of air defense in the conflict.
