China's spaceplane practices satellite capture-and-release maneuvers

The Chinese spaceplane CSSHQ was observed capturing and releasing a small satellite during the latter months of its fourth flight, indicating training for potential anti-satellite operations. The maneuvers suggest a capability to neutralize adversary satellites, though the intent remains ambiguous. This marks a notable escalation in space-based counterspace activities, raising concerns among defense analysts.
