Bosnia and Herzegovina Opens Polls for General Elections with New Voting Technology

Voters in Bosnia and Herzegovina are casting ballots today to elect the tripartite Presidency, federal and entity parliaments, and local assemblies. The election introduces new voting technologies for the first time, though the integrity and implementation of these systems remain to be assessed. The outcome will shape the country's fragile power-sharing arrangements and its EU accession trajectory.
