Belarus opposition figure urges Europe to maintain ties, not isolate Belarus

Maria Kalesnikava, a prominent Belarusian opposition figure, appealed to Europe in Paris to maintain contact with Belarusian society and not to isolate Belarus, warning against ceding Belarus to Russia. The statement underscores ongoing Western-Belarusian diplomatic tensions and the opposition's push for European engagement. The impact is limited as it is a political appeal, not a policy shift.
