Settlers attack American journalist in West Bank; victim pleads for death

Israeli settler violence in the West Bank has significantly escalated, targeting Palestinian olive harvesters, a US photojournalist, and European diplomatic delegations. While Israeli PM Netanyahu has called for investigations, there has been no condemnation of the settler actions, and some reports indicate Israeli forces were involved in an attack on diplomats. The coordinated nature of some attacks and the targeting of international personnel suggest a deteriorating security situation and potential for wider diplomatic fallout.
