Romania and India target strategic partnership and trade doubling by 2028

Romanian interim PM Ilie Bolojan and Indian President Droupadi Murmu have initiated plans to elevate bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership by 2028. The discussions focused on doubling trade volumes and expanding cooperation across energy, defense, technology, and infrastructure, with a specific emphasis on the role of the Port of Constanța.
