Toxic substances detected in majority of children's temporary tattoos in EU market test

Laboratory testing by Greenpeace and Arbeiterkammer Oberösterreich identified 31 hazardous chemicals, including banned plasticizers, heavy metals, and PFAS, in 13 of 15 temporary tattoo products. The findings indicate a significant regulatory failure in consumer product safety for children, though the specific brands affected remain to be publicly disclosed.
