Legal capacity and accessibility barriers for older adults in Colombia

The article argues that legal recognition of capacity for older adults is insufficient without corresponding institutional and corporate mechanisms to ensure accessibility. It highlights a systemic failure to bridge the gap between legal rights and practical implementation, leaving vulnerable populations exposed to administrative exclusion.
