Montenegrin Ombudsman rules against police vetting procedures for third time

The Human Rights Action (HRA) reports that the Ombudsman has repeatedly found police vetting processes under the Law on Internal Affairs to be non-compliant with legal standards. The HRA is demanding urgent legislative amendments and the provision of reasoned justifications for security-related denials to affected individuals.
