Peruvian police officer wounded in shooting during operation in Ventanilla

A senior non-commissioned officer was shot in the chin and arm by two suspects during a police operation in the Pachacútec district of Ventanilla. The officer is currently receiving medical treatment at the PNP Central Hospital, while the suspects remain at large.
