Ukraine Ambassador to US Vacancy Persists Since August, Signaling Diplomatic Friction

Ukraine has not appointed a new ambassador to the USA since dismissing Stepanishyna in August, leaving a key diplomatic post vacant despite a candidate being identified. The delay suggests possible friction in bilateral relations or internal political considerations, though the exact reasons remain unclear. This vacancy could hinder high-level communication and coordination between Kyiv and Washington during a critical period.
