Melbourne Islamic leader silent on alleged Flydubai hijacker links in video

Samir Mohtadi, leader of Melbourne's MyCentre, released a video citing Islamic texts on silence without addressing UAE prosecutors' allegations linking him to the accused Flydubai hijacker. The UAE attorney general claims investigators traced the suspect's ideological and professional background to Mohtadi, but no direct evidence has been made public. This is a developing legal and security matter with potential implications for counterterrorism cooperation between Australia and the UAE.
