TikTok data center project to double electricity demand in Lahti, Finland

A new data center project in Lahti will require electricity capacity equivalent to the city's current total residential and industrial consumption. Lahti Energia is investing 10 million euros in grid and infrastructure upgrades, which will be fully reimbursed by the operator.
