Namibia housing fund N$300m insufficient for 59 municipalities

Namibia's Ministry of Urban and Rural Development reports N$300 million remains for housing construction, to be distributed among 59 local authorities. This is a continuation of chronic underfunding relative to demand for serviced land and housing. The allocation is likely to fall far short of needs, potentially exacerbating urban housing shortages.
