Vatican advance team to Lima Oct 26 to finalize Pope Francis visit details

A Vatican advance delegation will arrive in Lima on October 26 to review security, liturgical, and logistical preparations for Pope Francis's scheduled November visit to Peru. The schedule remains unchanged pending the pope's recovery, according to Monsignor Guillermo Inca. The visit, if confirmed, would be a significant diplomatic and religious event for Peru, but uncertainty remains over the pope's health.
