China has operationalized the High Intensity heavy-ion accelerator facility in Huizhou, capable of producing the world's most intense charged atom beams. The facility aims to synthesize new atomic nuclei for applications in oncology and aerospace materials, marking a significant advancement in domestic high-energy physics infrastructure.
