E.coli detected in Östersund drinking water; boil-water advisory issued

The municipality of Östersund issued a boil-water advisory on Friday morning after potential E.coli contamination was detected in the drinking water supply affecting large parts of the city. The extent of contamination and source are not yet confirmed. This poses a public health risk and requires residents to boil water until further notice.
