Europol dismantles migrant smuggling network operating on Bulgarian-Serbian border

Law enforcement arrested five individuals, including two police officers, for facilitating illegal border crossings between Bulgaria and Serbia. The criminal network, active since 2025, charged approximately EUR 1,300 per person to bypass border controls using established smuggling routes.
