Libya Oil Output Steady at 1.4M bpd Despite Field Shutdowns; PFG Threatens Full Halt

Libya's National Oil Corporation (NOC) has threatened force majeure after Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) members shut down a valve on the Hamada-Zawiya pipeline, halting production at Hamada and Tahara fields and a pumping station. This action has led to the closure of three oil sites and a warning from the NOC regarding potential power shortages, including in Cairo. While current oil output remains at 1.4 million barrels per day, the PFG has threatened further reductions and a complete shutdown if their demands are not met, indicating a high risk of increased supply volatility.
