Czech hospital director fired amid money laundering probe; millions deposited in ATMs

Petr Honěk, director of Oblastní nemocnice Příbram, was dismissed by the Středočeský kraj councilors over suspicions of money laundering. He and his wife reportedly deposited millions in cash via ATMs. The case is at an early investigative stage; no charges have been filed.
