Russia detains 13 in organized scheme defrauding special operation veterans

Russian authorities announced the detention of 13 individuals across multiple regions for allegedly stealing money from veterans of the special operation in Ukraine. The group was dismantled by the Main Military Investigative Department and the Interior Ministry's Bureau of Special Technical Measures. The scale of the fraud and the total amount stolen remain undisclosed, and the suspects' identities and charges are not yet public.
