Chios deploys new Web GIS application for forest fire management

The Remote Sensing and Systems Research Group has launched a Web GIS platform to enhance forest fire monitoring and response capabilities on the island of Chios. The system aims to mitigate environmental and economic impacts by improving spatial data analysis during the high-risk summer fire season.
