Brazil pension funds slash equity allocation from 34% to 4.7% since 2013

Brazilian pension funds have dramatically reduced stock allocations from 34% in 2013 to 4.7% currently, according to a study by Abrapp and Itajubá. Foreign investments are now present in 84% of investment policies and lead allocation intentions. This structural shift away from domestic equities may reduce local market depth and influence capital flows.
