Universidad Autónoma del Caribe names third rector of 2026 amid judicial disputes

Ana Bernarda Sajer was appointed rector of Universidad Autónoma del Caribe, becoming the third person to hold the post in 2026, following Jorge Senior and Silvia Gette. The appointment comes amid two judicial decisions and two election processes, indicating ongoing institutional instability. The change is notable for the frequency of leadership turnover, but its broader significance is limited to the university's governance.
