Peru arrests 20 in Pataz, seizes weapons; 'Goku' recaptured

Peruvian police arrested 20 individuals in Pataz, La Libertad, seizing weapons, ammunition, and explosives. Among those detained is Javier Carbajal Cruz, alias 'Goku', a lieutenant of the criminal organization La Gran Alianza, who had been released earlier this year despite a prior capture. The operation signals continued pressure on illegal mining-related crime in the region, though the release of 'Goku' raises questions about judicial oversight.
