Leonardo and Baykar joint venture LBA Systems commences production of Astore Levante drones

The LBA Systems joint venture between Italy's Leonardo and Turkey's Baykar has reached full operational status, initiating production of the Astore Levante drone. Deliveries to the Italian military are scheduled for completion by the end of 2026, marking a significant deepening of defense-industrial ties between the two NATO members.
