Archaeological findings at Bayburt Castle reveal Ottoman-Russian War and Kura-Araxes era artifacts

Excavations at the historic Bayburt Castle in eastern Türkiye have unearthed material evidence dating to the 1828 Ottoman-Russian War alongside artifacts from the ancient Kura-Araxes culture.
