Homan Defends ICE Arrests, Rebukes GOP Rep. Salazar Over Detentions

Tom Homan, former ICE acting director, publicly defended recent ICE arrests and criticized Republican Rep. María Elvira Salazar for her remarks on detaining immigrants without criminal records, telling her to 'educate herself' and engage directly with the agency. The exchange highlights intra-party friction over immigration enforcement, with Salazar representing a district with significant immigrant population. The incident signals potential political fallout within the GOP over enforcement tactics.
