Kremlin denies knowledge of Whitkoff-Kushner visit to Russia this weekend

Kremlin spokesman Peskov says there is no information on a reported visit by US negotiators Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner to Russia this weekend. The denial neither confirms nor rules out the visit, leaving the status of US-Russia diplomatic contacts uncertain. This matters as it signals possible ongoing but unconfirmed back-channel diplomacy amid the Ukraine conflict.
