Russia strikes Kyiv energy grid; Trump proposes energy ceasefire

Russian forces conducted strikes on Kyiv's energy infrastructure, with explosions reported in the city center and outskirts. This continues Moscow's pattern of targeting Ukraine's power grid, but coincides with President Trump's call for an energy ceasefire, marking a potential diplomatic opening. The strikes' impact on grid capacity and the viability of the ceasefire proposal remain uncertain.
