AfD's Weidel calls Ukraine war 'lost', demands end to German aid

AfD co-leader Alice Weidel, in an interview with a British newspaper, declared the war in Ukraine 'lost' for Kyiv and demanded Germany cease all aid to Ukraine. This marks a sharp escalation of the AfD's anti-aid stance, aligning with Kremlin narratives and challenging the German government's policy. The claim is an opinion, not a factual assessment, and its impact is primarily political within Germany and the EU.
