Salmonella outbreak linked to Laerco egg production in Belgium

At least 300 individuals have contracted salmonella from contaminated eggs produced by the Belgian firm Laerco. While a recall was initiated on August 10, the federal food agency (FAVV) warns that contaminated products may still be present in consumer households.
