Belgium: 92% of disadvantaged schools now charge for meals after subsidy end

A survey by Ligue des familles and Ecole à tables, reviewed by Le Soir, shows that after the end of a call for projects for free school meals, 92% of disadvantaged schools now charge for meals. Enrollment in hot meal service dropped from 66.5% to 27% in schools where meals are now paid.
