Trump says Whitkoff working on Iran deal; no details on scope or status

President Trump stated at a Texas rally that special envoy Steve Whitkoff is actively working on a deal with Iran, signaling renewed US diplomatic engagement. No specifics on framework, parties, or timeline were provided, and the claim is unverified beyond Trump's statement. This marks a potential shift toward negotiated settlement after prior maximum-pressure posture, but uncertainty is high.
