Houthi drone strike on Saudi air base keeps Riyadh airport closed

Houthi forces claimed a drone attack on an air base in Khamis Mushait, southwest Saudi Arabia, contributing to the continued closure of Riyadh's airport this week. The attack extends a pattern of cross-border strikes, but the specific impact on airport operations and any casualties remain unconfirmed. This underscores persistent regional instability and threats to critical infrastructure.
