EU proposes expanded Russia sanctions following fatal drone strike on Kryvyi Rih

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has characterized a Russian drone strike on a shopping center in Kryvyi Rih, which resulted in 16 fatalities, as a deliberate act of terror. In response, the EU is preparing its most extensive sanctions package against Russia since the conflict began, to be presented at an upcoming ministerial meeting in Ireland.
