Russia intercepts eight drones en route to Moscow

Moscow Mayor Sobyanin reported that eight drones were shot down while approaching the capital, marking a continuation of Ukrainian long-range drone strikes on Russian cities. The claim is unverified beyond official Russian sources, and the origin of the drones is not stated. This reflects ongoing cross-border attacks, with limited direct market impact unless strikes hit critical infrastructure.
