Poland updates civil registry to allow transcription of foreign same-sex marriage certificates

Poland will permit the transcription of foreign same-sex marriage certificates at Civil Registry Offices starting August 23, following rulings by the CJEU and the Supreme Administrative Court. While the technical infrastructure is being updated, the implementation faces political and administrative resistance from local officials.
