Woman sentenced to 16 years for $9 million Amazon invoice fraud scheme

A defendant received a 16-year prison sentence for orchestrating a six-month fraud scheme involving over 1,000 fake invoices from non-existent suppliers. The operation successfully defrauded Amazon of more than $9 million, which was primarily used to purchase luxury vehicles.
